Our infographic this week covers the large geographical area of Perthshire, Northern Scotland and the Northern Isles (post codes HS, KW, PH & ZE). There are 80 IT companies in the area, and 12 of these develop apps so 15%. This is a higher % than for the whole of Scotland. There are 217 companies in Scotland with the app development skill i.e. 9.2%.
There are IT companies throughout the area e.g. Perth, Stornoway, Crieff, Aviemore, Kirkwall .
